Chinese shipbuilder CSSC delivered the world's first ultra-large 24,000-TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship to French company CMA CGM. The ship, CMA CGM SEINE, is 399 meters long, can carry 23,876 containers, and emits up to 20% less CO₂ and 85% less nitrogen oxides than oil-powered ships. It can sail nearly 20,000 nautical miles on LNG and is set to launch on a Far East-Europe route.
