Former fish shop worker now royal artist, uses iPad to document King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Italian tour.
Former fish and chip shop worker Fraser Scarfe, aged 38, has become the first official royal tour artist to use an iPad, documenting King Charles and Queen Camilla's four-day state visit to Italy.
Scarfe, the 42nd artist chosen for this role since 1985, created both digital and physical artworks of the royal couple's engagements in Rome and Ravenna, marking a first in the tradition of royal tour artists.
Scarfe, who trained at the Royal Drawing School founded by the King in 2000, also teaches there as its head of education.
