The 78th Cannes Film Festival will feature films from directors Ari Aster, Richard Linklater, and Wes Anderson competing for the Palme d'Or. The festival, set for May 13-24, is under pressure to address industry abuse following a French parliamentary inquiry that found mistreatment of performers is "endemic." Iris Knobloch and Thierry Fremaux will unveil the full lineup in Paris. Juliette Binoche will chair the jury, and Robert De Niro will receive an honorary Palme d'Or.
