Justice Sanjeev Kumar becomes Acting Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, taking over after the retirement of the previous Chief Justice on April 9, 2025. Kumar, currently a senior judge in the same court, will begin his new role on April 10. The Supreme Court Collegium is also awaiting approval for appointing Justice Arun Palli as the new Chief Justice.
