The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) has provided over ₹33 lakh crore in collateral-free loans to micro-enterprises in India since its launch in 2015, empowering millions, especially women and marginalized communities.

It has led to a significant increase in credit flow to informal enterprises, with the total loans disbursed increasing from ₹57,000 crore in 2013 to ₹5.41 lakh crore in 2023-24.
