Former South Dakota health official pleads guilty to forgery for falsifying inspection reports.

Renee Strong, a former South Dakota state employee, pleaded guilty to four forgery charges for falsifying food service inspection reports while working for the Department of Health. She faces up to two years and a $4,000 fine for two charges and up to five years and a $10,000 fine for the other two. Sentencing is set for June 10. The case was investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and is being prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
