Shell cuts Q1 gas and LNG output forecasts due to maintenance and weather, shares drop.
Shell reduced its first-quarter gas production and liquefied natural gas (LNG) output forecasts due to unplanned maintenance and adverse weather conditions.
Gas production is now expected to be between 910,000 and 950,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, down from 930,000 to 990,000 barrels.
LNG volumes are expected to be between 6.4 million and 6.8 million metric tons, down from 6.6 million to 7.2 million tons.
The company's share price dropped 4.7% on the London Stock Exchange.
Shell will report full first-quarter results on May 2.
