Man accused of strangling woman and other assaults turns himself in to police in Asheville.
Marcellus Tremaine Robinson, 38, turned himself in to Asheville police on April 5, a month after he was accused of strangling a woman and other assaults. Robinson faced charges including felony assault by strangulation, domestic violence, and assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into Buncombe County Detention Facility with a $30,000 bond and his next court appearance is scheduled for April 23.
