DHS revokes legal status for over 900,000 migrants, forcing them to leave the U.S.
The US Department of Homeland Security under the Trump administration has revoked the legal status of over 900,000 migrants who entered the US through the Biden-era CBP One app since January 2023, allowing them to stay for two years with work authorization.
The DHS said the move aims to secure borders and protect national security.
Migrants are urged to leave the country immediately through the renamed CBP Home app.
This follows the Trump administration's termination of Temporary Protected Status for 600,000 Venezuelans and 500,000 Haitians, though some decisions were temporarily halted by a federal judge.
