Carnival orders two new AIDA ships for $2 billion, while Emerald Cruises plans three new vessels.
Carnival Corporation ordered two new midsized ships for its AIDA brand from Fincantieri, with deliveries in 2030 and 2031, valued at over $2 billion.
The ships will have 2,100 cabins and multi-fuel engines.
Meanwhile, Emerald Cruises plans to expand with three new ships by 2027, including two ocean-going vessels and one river ship for the Seine.
