Police shot and killed a suspect who carjacked vehicles in Tacoma and Puyallup on Saturday.

On Saturday, police in Tacoma and Puyallup shot and killed a suspect involved in a carjacking incident that spanned several locations. The suspect, who carjacked a vehicle in Tacoma around 12:30 p.m., crashed and carjacked another car before officers in Puyallup deployed spike strips to stop him. After exiting the car with a knife, the suspect was shot and killed by officers from both departments. The investigation is ongoing.
