In the early hours of Saturday morning, a car driven by 31-year-old Eric Lyons veered off the road and crashed onto a sidewalk on U Street in Northwest DC, injuring seven pedestrians. All injuries are non-life threatening. Lyons was arrested at the scene and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving. The investigation is ongoing.
