A baby Hoffman's two-toed sloth was born at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, Minnesota, witnessed by many visitors. The baby's mother, Sago, is six years old, and the father, Ziggy, is three. The newborn will stay attached to its mother for about six months, with females raising their young for up to a year. The sloths can be seen in the Primate Building's saki monkey exhibit.
