Singapore's retail sales fell 3.6% year-on-year in February, but rose month-on-month by 3.0%.

Singapore's retail sales dropped 3.6% in February 2025 compared to the same month last year, partly due to the timing shift of the Chinese New Year. Most retail sectors saw declines, including an 18.4% drop in wearing apparel and footwear sales and a 5.6% decrease in food and beverage services. Despite this, online sales rose from 11.6% to 12.3%. On a seasonally adjusted basis, sales rose 3.0% from January.
