USDA recalls 489,000 lbs of breakfast sandwiches due to undeclared sesame allergen.

The USDA has announced a voluntary recall of about 489,000 pounds of frozen breakfast sandwiches by Hearthside Food Solutions due to undeclared sesame, an allergen not listed on packaging. The recalled "Lettieri’s Food to Go" sandwiches—Sausage, Egg & Cheese and Bacon, Egg & Cheese French Toast—are sold at Army & Air Force Exchange Services locations nationwide. No illnesses have been reported, but consumers are advised to discard or return the products.
