An Italian company, Permasteelisa, has secured a contract to install the facade for London's 36-story 50 Fenchurch Street tower, also known as the "Walkie-Talkie." The project, designed by Eric Parry Architects and built by Multiplex, aims to be one of the UK's most energy-efficient and biodiverse skyscrapers. Permasteelisa will use advanced facade technology, including automated blinds to maximize daylight and control solar gain, enhancing the building's energy efficiency.
