Sri Lanka has pledged $1 million and offered medical assistance to Myanmar following a deadly earthquake that killed over 2,700 people. The aid includes dry rations and a standby medical team. Former President Wickremasinghe proposed sending the Army Medical Corps to set up a temporary hospital. Meanwhile, 17,000 metric tons of U.S. food aid have arrived in Bangladesh to support Rohingya refugees.
