Scottish group launches to help sub-postmasters seek compensation for wrongful convictions due to faulty IT system.
Former sub-postmaster Rab Thomson, wrongly convicted in the Post Office scandal, has launched the Scottish Postmasters for Justice and Redress group to help victims seek compensation and legal redress.
The group focuses on cases affected by the faulty Horizon IT system, which wrongfully convicted 900 sub-postmasters between 1999 and 2015.
So far, 64 convictions have been quashed in Scotland, with about £768m paid to 5,100 claimants across the UK.
