NSW ICAC to investigate corrupt conduct and misuse of funds in a $39M school construction project.

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) will launch a six-week public inquiry on May 5 into a $39 million school construction project in New South Wales. The project, which aimed to build and upgrade over 100 schools, was terminated six months after its launch with The APP Group. The inquiry, called Operation Landan, will investigate accusations of corrupt conduct, improper contract awards, and misuse of funds by former chief executive Anthony Manning and others. It will also examine alleged reprisal actions against whistleblowers.
