As of April 2, 15-year-olds in Kentucky can start scheduling driver's permit appointments.

Starting April 2, 15-year-olds in Kentucky can schedule driver's permit appointments on the Kentucky State Police website. Due to high demand, appointments are limited and added daily at 8 a.m. EDT. Applicants must gather required documents, including proof of identity and a School Compliance Verification Form, and study the Kentucky Driver Manual before their appointment. The age for getting a permit was lowered from 16 to 15 by House Bill 15, signed into law by Governor Andy Beshear.
