Jason Momoa stars in "Chief of War," a new Apple TV+ series set in pre-colonial Hawaii.

Jason Momoa will star as Ka'iana, a Hawaiian warrior striving to unify the islands before Western colonization in the late 18th century, in Apple TV+'s new drama series "Chief of War." Co-created by Momoa and Thomas Pa'a Sibbett, the series features a predominantly Polynesian cast. The first two episodes premiere on August 1, followed by new episodes every Friday through September 19.
