The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) is building a new $5 million headquarters in Riverside, near the Creek Turnpike, to replace the current outdated facility used since 1989.
The land was donated by the Turnpike Authority, and the new site will serve troopers in Tulsa, Rogers, Creek, and Okmulgee counties.
Construction begins next month and is expected to be completed in about a year.
