Chris Brayley, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis over 20 years ago, has transformed his life from anger to helping others through Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA).
Despite his condition worsening to needing a wheelchair, Brayley now supports individuals with life-altering injuries or diagnoses, helping them regain independence through social activities.
He emphasizes the importance of building connections and providing non-clinical advice.
Brayley was also present at the opening of the first Neuromoves gym west of the Blue Mountains, aimed at assisting those with disabilities.
He encourages people to register for SCIA's peer support group online.
