VCU set to hire Bryant University coach Phil Martelli Jr., following Ryan Odom's departure.

VCU is reportedly set to hire Phil Martelli Jr., the current coach at Bryant University, as their new head coach. Martelli Jr., 43, led Bryant to two consecutive 20-win seasons and an NCAA Tournament appearance. The hiring would make VCU his new home, following Ryan Odom's departure to Virginia.
