University of Pennsylvania fires cartoonist for allegedly anti-Semitic artwork.

The University of Pennsylvania fired cartoonist Dwayne Booth, known as Mr. Fish, for creating allegedly anti-Semitic cartoons, including images of Israelis drinking blood. Booth, who joined UPenn's Annenberg School in 2015, produced cartoons critical of Israel following the Hamas attacks in October 2023. The university called his work "reprehensible," but Booth claims he was fired due to budget cuts and accuses the administration of yielding to right-wing pressure.
