TN trooper indicted for tampering with evidence and misconduct in a family-related fatal crash.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Wayne Newcome was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence, official misconduct, and being an accessory after the fact. The charges stem from an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation into his conduct at the scene of a deadly crash involving a family member while he was off-duty. Newcome was booked into Bledsoe County jail on a $25,000 bond.
