Taiwan unveils Endeavor Manta, a military USV to enhance defense in the Taiwan Strait.

Taiwan has introduced its first military-grade uncrewed surface vehicle (USV), the Endeavor Manta, designed to bolster its defensive capabilities, especially in the Taiwan Strait. Developed by CSBC Taiwan, the USV can travel up to 35 knots and features remote control via various networks, self-destruction if seized, and autonomous navigation with AI-assisted target acquisition. It can operate in groups and is designed for stealth, improving its effectiveness in maritime defense.
