A new study using AI analyzed over 4,200 clinical reports of children with suspected autism in Montreal. Researchers found that repetitive behaviors, special interests, and sensory sensitivities were strongly linked to autism diagnoses, more so than social skills. This could lead to more accurate diagnoses and a reevaluation of current diagnostic guidelines.
