Repeat offender Glen Duff sentenced to five years for slashing an inmate's face at Cloverhill Prison.

Glen Duff, a 38-year-old man with over 200 convictions, has been sentenced to five years in prison for slashing another inmate's face at Cloverhill Prison. Duff, already serving a six-year sentence for attacking a tourist, also admitted to stealing €300 worth of alcohol from a pub. The judge, acknowledging Duff's troubled background and addiction issues, suspended the final year of the sentence under strict conditions.
