In efforts to improve emergency response times, Punjab Police has equipped 165 Emergency Response Vehicles with new 5G smartphones alongside existing Mobile Data Terminals, aiming to reduce response times. In Gujarat, the 112 Emergency Response Support System has handled over 1.4 crore calls since 2019 and is expanding statewide. Both initiatives aim to enhance public safety and streamline emergency services.
