Pilot and two children survive crash-landing on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, found by volunteer.

A small plane carrying a pilot and two children crashed on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula after being reported overdue. The family was found alive near Tustumena Lake with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to a hospital. The plane, a Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser, was found on a frozen lake, partially submerged. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
