NCC Limited won big contracts to build broadband networks in India, boosting its shares despite recent profit drops.

NCC Limited, an Indian construction firm, secured two major contracts worth Rs 10,804.56 crore from BSNL to build and maintain middle-mile networks for broadband in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and other regions. The contracts aim to provide non-discriminatory access to broadband for telecom operators and have boosted NCC's shares by 6.4%. Despite this, NCC's latest quarterly results showed a 12.5% drop in net profit.
