Monroe County Jail deputy charged with warning inmates before searches, part of ongoing misconduct probe.

A second deputy at Monroe County Jail, Dominic Denaro, has been charged with official misconduct and obstruction of governmental administration for allegedly warning inmates before cell searches. This follows the charging of another deputy, Dominic Kujawa, who enabled a fight between inmates. Three deputies were suspended in December 2024 as part of the ongoing investigation into misconduct at the facility.
