Microsoft introduces AI agents Researcher and Analyst for advanced data analysis in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Microsoft is launching two new AI agents, Researcher and Analyst, for its Microsoft 365 Copilot service. Researcher performs complex research and integrates third-party data, while Analyst turns raw data into insights, similar to a data scientist. Both agents will be available starting in April through an early access program called Frontier. Microsoft also plans to introduce new AI capabilities for automating tasks through Copilot Studio.
