Kennewick man shot by police after knife attack; falsely claims he killed his daughter.

A Kennewick man, Dillon Winters, was shot by police after he allegedly charged at them with a knife. In the ambulance, Winters claimed he killed his 5-year-old daughter with a shotgun, but she was found safe with her grandparents. Winters was held on suspicion of first-degree assault, and due to suspected mental health issues, he must speak with a mental health professional before release.
