Irish police caught speeding driver Christopher Murphy after a chase that damaged traffic lights, while his partner tried to seize an officer's gun.

Christopher Murphy, 33, led Irish police on a high-speed chase in Dublin, crashing into traffic lights and causing over €15,000 in damage. His partner, Malika Amraoui, 35, attempted to take an officer's firearm during their arrest. Murphy, with 33 previous traffic convictions, was jailed for three years and banned from driving for five years. Amraoui, with two previous convictions for no insurance, was sentenced to three years, suspended.
