India launches BHIM 3.0 app, enhancing digital payments and financial management with new features.

The Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) 3.0 app, launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), introduces several new features aimed at simplifying digital payments and financial management for users. BHIM 3.0 supports over 15 Indian languages and operates efficiently in low-internet areas. It includes bill-splitting capabilities, a "Family Mode" for managing shared expenses, and a dashboard for tracking monthly spending. For merchants, BHIM 3.0 offers an integrated payment solution called BHIM Vega. The app's rollout is set to be completed by April 2025, enhancing financial transparency and convenience.
