The Imperial Beach Pier in San Diego is undergoing a $2.6 million renovation to replace 154 deck planks and upgrade electric utilities. Construction, taking place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will keep the pier open. The project, which began in November 2024, also includes new water lines and is set for completion in April, though some work may extend into summer 2025.
