Human Rights Watch reports that Colombian rebel groups, especially the National Liberation Army (ELN), have committed severe abuses, including executions and child recruitment, in the resource-rich Catatumbo region along Colombia's border with Venezuela. Since January, over 56,000 people have been displaced due to the conflict, with at least 78 killed in January and February alone.
