Former Ghanaian VP and MP show interest in 2028 NPP race by supporting fire-affected Kumasi area.

Former Ghanaian Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former MP Kennedy Agyapong have shown interest in the 2028 NPP flagbearer race by visiting a fire-affected area in Kumasi. Bawumia donated GH¢200,000 and supplies, while Agyapong promised support. The Ashanti NPP caucus blamed poor management for the city's issues and called for better governance to improve conditions for residents and businesses.
