Former Smyrna Police detective Michael Kealty was sentenced to ten years in federal prison for coercing a 16-year-old girl into producing explicit images and threatening to expose them. Kealty, who pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement of a minor, also attempted to exploit other underage girls. His case is part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood initiative against child sexual exploitation.
