Former Commerce City Manager Edgar Cisneros has been sentenced to two years' probation and fined $25,000 for his role in a cannabis bribery scheme. Cisneros admitted to paying at least $45,000 in bribes to a Baldwin Park councilman to secure a permit for a cannabis company. He resigned in November 2023 after secretly pleading guilty and received a $400,000 severance package.
