Fleetio, a fleet management software provider, acquired Auto Integrate, a maintenance authorization platform, in a deal valuing the combined company at over $1.5 billion. Fleetio raised over $450 million to finance the acquisition, aiming to streamline fleet maintenance for over 8 million vehicles through 110,000+ repair shops in North America. The integration aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce vehicle downtime by enabling electronic repair order submissions.
