Dr. Gabriel Trujillo, a longtime educator, is appointed new superintendent of Grand Prairie ISD.

Dr. Gabriel Trujillo, with over 30 years of educational experience, has been appointed as the new superintendent of the Grand Prairie Independent School District (ISD). Trujillo previously served as the superintendent of Nacogdoches ISD and as an area superintendent for Grand Prairie ISD. He is set to begin his new role in early April and is a vocal opponent of school vouchers.
