Connecticut State Police rammed a wrong-way driver's car on I-395; the intoxicated driver was arrested.

On March 25, 2025, Connecticut State Police intentionally rammed a car driven wrong way on I-395 near Montville, after multiple 911 calls. The driver, 34-year-old Cailin Sorder, showed signs of intoxication and was charged with DUI, driving wrong way, engaging in a police pursuit, interfering with an officer, and reckless endangerment. No injuries were reported.
