Charleston police are investigating the homicide of 67-year-old Everette Lee Stover, whose remains were found on March 4 in a vacant backyard. Stover was last seen on October 1, 2024, and had a history of addiction following a forklift accident. Detectives are seeking information from three of his known associates: Michael James Snell, Jerry Alvin Jones Jr., and Barbara Crystall Surrett.
