Brazilian man sentenced to 9 years for running brothels under fake identities in Ireland.

A 54-year-old Brazilian man, Ilamar Rodrigues Ribeiro, was sentenced to nine years in prison for using fake identities to rent properties across rural Ireland and operating them as brothels. Nearly €800,000 in criminal proceeds was found in his bank accounts. He also pleaded guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material on his phone. Ribeiro has previous fraud convictions in France and the UK.
