Athens police seek driver of dark gray Kia Telluride involved in hit-and-run, March 25th.

Athens Police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident on March 25th, 2025, that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. The crash happened around 10:25 PM on US Highway 72, west of I-65. The vehicle, described as a dark gray 2020-2024 Kia Telluride, struck the pedestrian while driving eastbound and fled the scene. The injured pedestrian was taken to the hospital. The police are asking for any information to help locate the vehicle and its driver.
