A fatal wrong-way crash occurred on March 20 on US50 near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, involving a Toyota Tacoma and a Subaru Crosstrek. The crash resulted in the death of Brian Alonso Vazquez Gonzalez, 24, and left multiple individuals with life-threatening injuries. Stephen Michael Pawlowski, the driver of the Toyota Tacoma, was charged with vehicular homicide and suspected DUI, among other charges. He is currently in custody with his bail set at $125,219.
