Two senior Singaporean civil servants, Mr Jeffrey Siow and Mrs Tan Ching Yee, are retiring after long careers. Siow, retiring in April, served as second permanent secretary in trade and industry and manpower, while Tan, retiring in May, was permanent secretary for finance. Their departures coincide with changes in leadership, including Lai Chung Han becoming the new finance permanent secretary. The PSD did not disclose the retirees' future plans.
